The 45th Conference on Stochastic Processes and their Applications (SPA) will be held in Ithaca, New York, from 14 to 20 June 2026. It is the most prominent international event in 2026 dedicated to the theory and applications of stochastic processes.

SPA conferences are organized annually under the patronage of the Bernoulli Society for Mathematical Statistics and Probability. The last editions took place in Wrocław (2025), Lisbon (2023), Wuhan (2022), Evanston (2019), Gothenburg (2018). The Bernoulli Society is a section of the International Statistical Institute (ISI).

The 2026 edition is hosted by the Department of Mathematics and School of Operations Research and Information Engineering  of Cornell University, as represented by Laurent Saloff-Coste and Gennady Samorodnitsky

Certificate of Attendance

To minimize paper usage at the Conference, participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance in PDF format after the Conference.

Financial Support

A limited number of financial support awards are available to assist junior participants—including students, postdoctoral scholars, and early-career professionals—in attending the conference. Applicants must submit a brief statement of financial need, a statement of support from an advisor or mentor, and a current CV. Awards are based on demonstrated need and alignment with the conference. Please note the priority funding deadline of May 1, with decisions communicated in May.
